Calian Ola’l was born into the Oso Lobo Clan, Calian earned his position as leader through proven wisdom in council and valor in combat. His understanding of both warfare and peacetime leadership has helped his clan thrive in challenging times. Years of combat experience and tactical decisions have shaped him into a respected figure among both allies and rivals.
A tall, imposing figure with long silver hair that he often wears in traditional warrior braids. His piercing gray eyes seem to see through deception, while his muscular build reflects years of combat training. He moves with the fluid grace of an experienced warrior, each movement precise and purposeful. Weather-worn features tell of countless days leading his people in the open.
Fenris Mortemcor
Rising to power through a combination of military prowess and political maneuvering, Fenris established himself as the Lord of the Firelands through both force and strategy. His body bears the scars of countless battles, each one a testament to his survival and determination. His rule over the Firelands has been marked by expansion and iron-fisted control.
The left side of his face was a patchwork of scars, mottled skin and twisted flesh. A jagged seam ran down from his hairline, through his sunken eye socket, and to the corner of his mouth. When he spoke, the movement of his jaw revealed the exposed bone and teeth beneath the damaged tissue. The result of a fierce battle and dark magic, this wound would never fully heal. He wore a hooded robe, but his long white hair, could still be seen, unkempt, and patchy, his hair could not fully cover his burn-scarred scalp.
Georg
As Salvo’s older brother, Georg has had to grow up quickly, taking on a protective role that has shaped his character. His leadership abilities have developed naturally through necessity rather than ambition, making him both respected and relatable to those around him. Georg feel it his duty to look after his younger brother, regardless the risk.
Greymal the Vile
Under Fenris Mortemcor’s guidance, Greymal embraced his new role as a vermin leader and rose through the ranks of mutant leaders by proving his strategic prowess in battle. His knowledge of both human tactics and mutant savagery makes him an invaluable asset to Fenris’s army.
Greymal the Vile’s skin is a patchwork of scales, offering protection against the harsh climate of the Firelands. His armor, crafted from unknown creatures of reptilian origin, melds seamlessly with his natural defenses. His left arm extends unnaturally long, ending in formidable talons that serve as both weapon and tool, while his right hand retains a more human shape but still bears sharp claws. His face reflects an evolutionary adaptation to his environment rather than mere deformity, giving him an intimidating presence among the mutant hordes.
Ragnar Eardwulf
Originally a battle-hardened warrior from the Northern Highlands, he rose to prominence as the leader of the Scabs mercenary group. His true heritage as the last of the royal Eardwulf bloodline of Old Massine was later discovered, leading to his appointment as King Protector of New Massine. This transition from mercenary leader to royal protector marks a significant evolution in his life’s journey.
He is a tall, powerful figure whose presence commands attention. His bald head is adorned with intricate tattoos that tell tales of his warrior past, while his thick beard adds to his distinguished appearance. Salvo
A 14-year-old wealdling who has grown up learning to navigate both the natural world and its dangers. His relationship with his older brother Georg has helped shape his understanding of family bonds and responsibility. His past experiences, while leaving him cautious, have also forged him into someone who can quickly adapt to new situations.
Sage the Innocent
As High Priestess of Woodlands and member of the Council of Nine of the Natural Order, Sage has dedicated her life to maintaining harmony between nature and its inhabitants. Her position on the Council reflects years of service and deep understanding of natural law. She has earned her place through both wisdom and action, though the specific path to her current role remains part of her private history.
Thane Silverhand
Born and raised in the Silverhorn Caverns, Thane has spent years mastering the intricate network of passages and treacherous landscapes of his homeland. His expertise in navigation comes from countless expeditions and a deep connection to the cavern systems that his people call home.
A halfling of short stature, characteristic of his kind, with a round, friendly face dotted with freckles. His curly red hair has a wild, untamed quality to it, matching his adventurous spirit. Despite his small size, he moves with remarkable agility and confidence, especially in difficult terrain.

Aedan Angharad III, known as The Much Loved, has been the steadfast ruler of New Massine for nearly a century. His lineage traces back to the founding of New Massine by his grandfather 200 years ago. Despite being revered and called the Betrothed King due to his dedication to his realm over personal life, he has no heir. Aedan’s reign is protected by the Regius Cohortis, an elite guard sworn solely to him, bound by vows that forbid marriage or family ties. He is called Zero of Nine within the Natural Order.
Amaris deKarl
Amaris deKarl, though initially reluctant to engage in the intricate politics of the Natural Order, finds herself thrust into a position of leadership after her father’s untimely death at the Conclave of Kings. Despite her internal conflict about wielding power, she is driven by a deep-seated sense of duty to uphold her father’s legacy and protect the Natural Order. Her ambition is tempered by loyalty, as she navigates political tensions with both caution and determination. She is known as Two of Nine with the Natural Order.
Aoife the Dauntless
Aoife the Dauntless – Three of Nine of the Natural Order. she is a mature wealdling mage, intent on taking over. Her motives seem questionable at times. And, while she seeks power, she does so for the good of the Order. She is beautiful and a master of glamour magic. She makes a play for power to become the next Summus Rex but it is a failed attempt and she holds a grudge. Her motives are often questioned although she is mostly loyal to the Natural Order
Aria Amergin
Aria Amergin, known as “Four of Nine” within the Natural Order, hails from a lineage of Firelight Bards renowned for their captivating tales and enchanting melodies. Her mastery over hypnotic spells allows her to weave stories that not only entertain but also influence the minds of listeners. Aria’s altruistic nature has endeared her to fellow members, and she is seen as a unifying force who supports Amaris or Aoife in their aspirations for leadership as Summus Rex.
Cerdan the Warlock
Cerdan the Warlock, Six of Nine, once a formidable architect of the Third Human Purge, was known for his controversial stance during The Great Uprising, where he opposed alliances with humans. Despite past transgressions that led to his banishment from the Natural Order, he returned under scrutiny, wielding immense power over eight magical domains. His ambition to claim the title of Summus Rex was driven by a belief in his own superiority and disdain for other leaders like Aoife and Amaris.
Citali Kasa
Citali Kasa, a skilled wealdling warrior and respected scout captain from the Woodland Keep, displays unmatched bravery as she joins Salvo and his companions on their perilous quest. She witnesses the tragic losses of both Georg and Mara during a fierce battle against the vermin but perseveres to see Mara’s ultimate sacrifice ignite the Blue Flame. Afterward, Citali assumes leadership in escorting a prisoner of war to Solitas’ dungeons, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her people’s safety.
Daegal DuLac
Daegal DuLac, known as the Eight of Nine and Summus Rex in the Natural Order, hails from a lineage deeply connected to the mystical waters of Erewhon. His mastery over water allows him to influence weather patterns and control aquatic elements with precision. Despite his immense power, Daegal remains cautious about the overuse of magic, fearing it might lead to mistrust among the Civilized Realms. After Galdra’s passing, he chooses not to pursue leadership permanently but supports stability within the Council during this turbulent time.
Diarmuid Silverhorn
Diarmuid Silverhorn, Nine of Nine, known as Dia, is a young yet formidable half-breed halfling mage from the mystical Silverhorn Caverns. As the daughter of Thane Silverhorn, she possesses a natural affinity for leadership and magic, mastering five distinct powers with remarkable skill. Despite her minor role in the Natural Order’s hierarchy, her ambition shines through as she navigates political alliances within Erewhon. Duris
Duris is a figure shrouded in mystery, often found in the archives of the Natural Order, where he meticulously catalogs ancient texts. Despite his frail appearance from purportedly spending a century bedridden, Duris exudes an enigmatic aura that hints at untold power and knowledge beyond mortal comprehension.
Galdra deKarl
Galdra deKarl, known as Zero of Nine and Summus Rex, is a legendary figure within the Natural Order. After he is mortally wounded, his precarious condition ignites a fierce struggle for power among the mages. His survival is seen as both a blessing and a curse; it maintains a semblance of unity but also exposes deep rifts within their ranks.
Kordan mac Koaal
Kordan mac Koaal is Seven of Nine, he wants to use the Natural Order to claim power over everyone else, including the Firelands. Introduces the idea of a possible alliance with Fenris. He is over two hundred years old, and always seems contrarian or angry. He wants to use force. He supports Cerdan as Summus.
Luna Grayshadow
Trained from an early age within the Natural Order, Luna’s exceptional magical aptitude set her apart from her peers. Her unique ability to channel magic manifests in her ever-changing eye color, a rare trait that marked her as someone special within the Order. She has dedicated herself to mastering various forms of magic while serving the Order’s principles of maintaining balance in the natural world.
Mara Wildsong
Born and raised in the Southern Woodlands, Mara discovered her healing abilities at a young age when she instinctively helped an injured forest creature. She has since dedicated her life to studying both traditional medicine and natural healing arts. Her connection to the woodland
Sylas Nightshade
Years of wandering and scavenging have honed his survival instincts and ability to spot both danger and opportunity. His past remains deliberately obscure, but his extensive knowledge of various regions and cultures suggests he’s traveled far and experienced much. He’s learned to rely primarily on himself, treating alliances as temporary arrangements rather than permanent bonds. After the Blue Flame is lit and stops the Vermin Army, Sylas and his scavengers join forces with the armies of Erewhon where they take the vermin prisoners war east to the island of Solitas, where they will watch over 5,000 vermin prisoners at the Dungeons of Solitas.
